Environmental epidemiology applied to climate sciences

The module aims to provide students with a basic understanding on the methods in environmental epidemiological currently used to assess the impact of climate change on health. Students will learn the different study designs available, the potential sources of bias, and the interpretation of the measures of risk and impact. The module will have an important practical component. Each session will consist on a lecture introducing the topic (1h) followed by an activity in groups (1h), which can be, for example, a practical exercise with computer or a joint discussion on reading material.
